Change of design

Okay, here is a new scribble, that I will sew this afternoon, well maybe, if I get into the studio before I pick up the kids from school. It doesn't look like much, but I think it will be quite nice when done.

I have also been dyeing fabrics this afternoon, which I find very stressful. I think I might be a little heavy-handed with the dye powder, as they all seem so dark. I want to get some pale colours, and it's just not working fr me. And as I am just starting out on the dyeing of fabric, you can't spend a fortune on fabrics, you know what I mean. But I guess, if they are really bad, they can just be dyed darker.

Hmmmm, I don't know!

I keep looking at the last post, and Idon't like the picture scribbles at all, and I think it will be files for later use, maybe later use, and if not, it can just sit there. Well I am off the clean putt he car. Yuck!

I did some doodling this afternoon, and added some background to the picture, it will need some fine tuning, but this is it so far. I am playing with it on the program Autosketch, which is easy to use, and alot of fun. I need to get myself an overhead projector, to blowup the picture, to get it to the size I want. It's getting late so I better go fix dinner for the masses! ;)

New Blog

I have just started my new blog. I am excited to get back into my sewing and fabric dyeing. The kids have been on school holidays for months, and now they are backat school. So it's now time to get out in the studio,
which has just been finished, except for a small amount of exterior painting, and get creative. For the last few months I have had so many ideas floating around in my head, many of which I can't remember, but now I will be able to go create when to mood gets me.
Below is the first part of an abstract I am going to rip apart and redo, so to speak. I am waiting for the man to get home, so we can setup my longarm quilting machine. I haven't used it for months and months, so it will be fun to play with it again.
